One of the most irritating aspects of running a print especially those longer prints. This frustration can be worse if you don't have a particular filament to replace it with to keep the print moving.

What is your response? Do you run a spool of filament dry before changing it out? Do you keep more than one of each type? How do you address this when you are printing?

For many, identifying appropriate print settings can be frustrating. Many printer companies provide handy lists to help identify what settings to use for each filament typing.
Have you found success with these settings? If not, what are some errors you've experienced? Are there other resources you use to help you identify issues and troubleshoot solutions?

There are different filament types out there and it can be daunting trying to figure out what type of filament to use for what project. For instance, do I need the strength of PETG because I'm making a fidget toy with a moveable piece? Will PLA suffice since the vase is strictly decorative? Do I want PETG for this vase because of the translucence tendencies? Do I want to make a pair of Crocs that need a bit of flex so I will need TPU?

Waylinl posted this article on some suggestions for which filament to use with each filament type - https://qidi3d.com/blogs/news/3d-printer...lete-guide

What types of filament do you prefer to use and why? Is the above article accurate for your personal uses?

There are so many brands of filament out there that all have something to offer. Between different types of filament, colors, spool sizes, spool types, etc., I want to know your favorite brands and why you choose those brands.

I'll start - I love the Bambu filaments. The RFID tag that auto selects settings is super handy. I enjoy their bulk pricing and their color choices. I also enjoy Creality brand filament for its cheap, single purchase capabilities. Flashforge also seems to have consistent quality and some pretty cool colors.

What about you?
